Definition
The Microsoft Xbox 360 is the second console by Microsoft in the Xbox line released in 2005. Software was distributed mostly on DVD-ROMs (Padded DVD-9s), however a few CD-ROMs were also made, mostly for applications. Xbox Game Discs (XGDs) are multi-session DVDs where the first session is a DVD-Video partition. XGDs also use Security Sectors in an attempt to prevent piracy. The XGDs for the Xbox 360 are second and third iterations of the technology with enhanced security measures called XGD2 and XGD3. Some Xbox 360 development discs are single layer DVD-Rs without Security Sectors, which can only be played on development units.

Coverdiscs
Many original Xbox and Xbox 360 magazine coverdiscs cross over between regions, with a corresponding range of regional variations on the title (see https://redump.info/disc/60874/ for example).
As a result, coverdiscs should be named by preference according to the internal titles, with regional title information stored in the comments.
