The Commodore 64 is a computer released by Commodore in 1982. Software for the Commodore 64 was released mostly on non-optical media such as cassettes and floppy disks. It was possible to distribute software via CD-ROM in the form of an Audio CD and then reading it like a cassette through the use of an adapter. Redump.info only handles the CD-ROM software, whereas the non-optical media are handled by other projects such as TOSEC and No-Intro. At the time of writing there are two known video game discs for the Commodore 64 that use the Audio CD method.
