Definition: Apple Macintosh is the generic name used by Redump for any CD/DVD based software that runs on an Apple computer. As of this moment this includes early PowerPC Mac era software and recent Intel Mac era software.
- Follow IBM PC Guide for general dumping.
- PC/Mac Hybrids go into IBM PC. This includes discs that carry both ISO and HFS file systems. Aswell as ISO/UDF discs with both Mac and PC files.
- Some PC/Mac Hybrids will carry an empty ISO partition. If you suspect this might be the case, confirm it with dumper and add them as Mac discs with a comment.
- Feral Interactive titles likely to have protection, scan with PiD, BOS does not work.
- Late DVDs likely to have SafeDisc, scan with PiD, BOS does not work.
- Possible to have SecuROM, see 88165.
