Definition

Nintendo-Sony Super Disc is the format intended for use with the cancelled Sony PlayStation (SFX-100) not to be confused with the Sony PlayStation. The format was abandoned or potentially repurposed into a future technology after the partnership fell through and Nintendo partnered with Philips to create the also cancelled Super NES CD-ROM System which used CD-i discs.
