Definition
CD-i (Compact-Disc Interactive) is the term used by Redump.info to refer to any compact disc mastered using the CD-i specification (Green Book). The most well known CD-i player was the Philips CDI 550 which featured the "paddle" controller.
General Notes
- Follow IBM PC Guide for dumping. Note that the CD-i file system is not readable on Windows. So all discs will appear empty.
- Green book as a whole is considered a "dead" system for Redump purposes, so all discs are allowed including CD-i Digital Video discs with movies.
- Eligible CD-i Ready discs go under this DAT rather than Audio CD. Despite appearing as audio CDs to most players and systems.
