3PLock

General Information

Bad sector based DRM from Germany found on discs from the mid 2000s. Who made it and the origin of the name is currently unknown, but it might be related to Bitpool and CeQuadrat GmbH by extension.

Identification

Discs with 3PLock carry dummy files called .ACC at the start and of the disc. These are numbered and cover ~20k EDC errors each.

Like Bitpool 3PLock discs also carry a CeQuadrat string in the PVD.

Dumping

Dump it like a normal disc.
