Redump.info discs with CD-Cops and DVD-Cops

General Information

DPM based protection from Denmark and Link Data Security used primarily by games from said country. Like StarForce which is partly derived from CD-Cops. DRM can be either keyed or keyless.

Identification

Can be identified by the presence of a CDCOPS.DLL file as well as two files called ".QZ_" and ".W_X" on disc, note that these might be hidden

Dumping

For Redump: Dump it like a normal disc.

For a working dump: CD-Cops makes use of DPM so a MDS is required to function. See the MDS dumping guide for the process.

Additional Information

Version numbering for CD-Cops is highly inconsistent and often makes no sense chronologically. Its currently recorded as is for Redump.
