Maverick Magazines was a publisher formed after the founder left Europress. They produced and ran several gaming focused magazines between 1992 and 1997, some of which included cover discs. They were notorious for purchasing titles then almost immediately running them into the ground resulting in plenty of short runs where they have the tail end of the print[1]. From what could be found, it appears they had ceased most of their gaming magazines by the start of 1997 before going all in on a Formula 1 magazine and closing later that year[2].
