Trialware

There are a large number of "Trialware" protections and warrant a separate page.

"Trialware" as the type is being called for the sake of the wiki, consists of DRM that on initial installation locks the game to a set number of plays, limited time, or similar. This may then be unlocked via a code, online activation or other means.

Trialware is tracked by Redump and should be included in the protection field.
