Uplay

General Information
Storefront from Ubisoft introduced in 2012 as an evolution of the Ubisoft Game Launcher originally from 2009. It was itself later replaced with a new storefront called Ubisoft Connect in 2020.
The DRM portion of Uplay is called "Orbit" (Sometimes referred to as "Orbit (Ubisoft Online DRM)") and predates it by a few years. Discs in addition sometimes had additional DRM in the form of SolidShield
Identification
Orbit itself can be identified by the presence of a dll called "GameOrbit.dll" while both Uplay and Ubisoft Connect should have an installer on disc.
Dumping
Dump it like a normal disc. Servers for Uplay are down so the only way to play a game without a crack is by activating the game on Ubisoft Connect.
Additional Information
Like most Storefront DRM, determining language of Uplay discs can be very hard and it's often better to leave the fields empty.
Separating Orbit from Uplay can be hard but as a rule of thumb. Any game released prior to 2012 with Orbit should be using the Ubisoft Game Launcher, Not Uplay.
