The 0080 series of optical disc drives are pulled from Xbox 360 consoles. Some models are compatible with Xbox 360 discs. What makes the 0080 dumping-compatible drives so special is that they're the only drives that can dump Xbox 360 discs which have XGD3 copy protection.

Choosing the Right model and Removing it's Drive
- There are methods of identifying which Xbox 360 models contain certain compatible drives. More research is necessary and will have to be updated.

- Drives purchased new (didn't come out of an Xbox 360) require an additional unlocking step. More research is necessary.
