General Information
Also known as X-Protect. Redump name for a companion DRM most likely internally developed by JoWooD Productions and used by titles published by the company during the mid-late 2000s. Its exact workings are unknown.
Being a companion DRM, X-Protect is never found on its own and instead works in conjunctions with another DRM as an extra layer of protection. So far, it's been found in combo with both TAGES, SecuROM and fellow companion DRM SVKP.
Identification
X-Prot has no identifying files of its own and is contained entirely in the game exe. Detecting it is done through either PID or BoS.
Dumping
X-Prot does not affect dumping by itself, so procedure instead depends on the DRM it's found with.
