==Definition==
[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocket_PC Microsoft Pocket PC] is a broad term used by Redump.info to refer to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palmtop_PC palmtops], [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_digital_assistant PDAs], and early [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smartphone smartphones] running [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_CE Windows CE] or [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Mobile Windows Mobile]. Software was distributed via floppy disks, CD-ROM, or DVD-ROM and then transferred to the handheld through the use of a computer ([[IBM PC compatible Guide|IBM PC]] or [[Apple Macintosh Guide|Apple Macintosh]]). Software was also distributed via MultiMediaCards (MMC), SD cards, or Compact Flash (CF) cards to be inserted directly into the system.
